Athletics

In its first year of operation, Schoolcraft College participated in cross-country, basketball and swimming. Since 1964 college programs have expanded to include soccer, volleyball, bowling and golf. This archive features a collection of images from team sports throughout the college's athletic history.

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is a group of seven members, elected by the voters of Schoolcraft Community College's voting district to serve for six-year terms. The collection features images and information records for members who served on the Schoolcraft College Board over the past 50 years.

College Events

This file contains images from college events of all types spanning 50 years of history from the digital archive collection.

Commencements

The first general commencement took place on May 1, 1966, with ceremonies held outside in the mall area of Schoolcraft's campus located between the initial four buildings. President Bradner established the Schoolcraft College Foundation in March 1966, with an initial gift of $12,500. The Foundation's first president was Clifton D. Hill. The Masque Players Drama Club was organized in 1965-1966.
